Hi I’m Becky, the creator of Honey Rock Botanicals.  This all started when I couldn’t find throat lozenges in stores or online that contained all clean and known ingredients.  I found some brands close to clean, but they always had “natural flavors” but didn’t precisely list what those ingredients were.  So I decided to learn to make my own.  The result were some awesome throat lozenges that helped my family, and later my friends, tremendously all while containing only ingredients I knew for certain.  After changing my entire lifestyle by transitioning fully to an auto-immune health protocol, I set out on a mission to create botanical skin care products for my family so that we would no longer experience the inflammation and harsh affects from chemicals in the products available in stores.  The transformation in our health was an amazing journey.  So amazing I could not help but share with others!  That’s my passion!  To help others experience a quality of life well lived because of good health and well-being!

WHY I DO WHAT I DO

If you’re like me, I was constantly experiencing the negative affects of products containing chemicals that were causing skin rash, eczema, psoriasis, acne breakouts, and painful inflammation all over the body.  After being frustrated and not finding many helpful solutions, I took matters into my own hands to be able to care for my body well.  I started with addressing what I was consuming in my body and chose an anti-inflammatory diet.  The outcome was amazing!  That got me thinking since I am so careful about what goes in my and my family’s body, I ought to also care what goes on our bodies.  What I found available in stores was disheartening.  After education and research, I found a solution in the form of medicinal plant infused oils and skin care products in which I could control all the ingredients if I made the recipes myself.  Now I intentionally purpose to craft botanical products that I use on my own body and want to share with you because I know what it is like to suffer in my own skin.  But I also know what it is like when that suffering stops!  I give all praise and glory to God for showing me the botanical, medicinal plant solutions!

WHAT I DO

I use medicinal plants slow infused in oils to craft the botanical skin care products.  Each product is intentionally crafted after researching medicinal plant qualities and benefits then intentionally designing plant and oil combinations for the best impact to repair, rejuvenate, and restore skin to its most healthy state.  And I do all of the slow infusion myself with organic plant products and oils so I know precisely what goes into my recipes and am able to maintain the highest, uncompromised quality because I care about your well-being (and mine).

WHY MEDICINAL PLANTS?

Medicinal plants are nontoxic, chemical free, and contain a wealth of natural remedies in their very make up.   Many medicinal plants contain properties that are anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antimicrobial, as well as, being rich with nutrients, vitamins and minerals that provide restorative and regenerative qualities that offer the skin comfort and support for good health.  

WHY SLOW INFUSED PROCESSING?

In order to maintain the integrity of the medicinal plants and not lose the effects of the nutrient properties, I choose to slow infuse in beneficial oils.  This process, which takes a long time, allows for the resulting medicinal oil to have the most potent desired affect in the botanical products I create.
